How to effectively inspect and maintain the gearbox?
Different lubricating oils are prohibited from being mixed with each other. The position of the oil level plug, drain plug, and breather is determined by the installation position. Their relevant positions can be determined by referring to the installation position diagram of the gearbox. The following is an explanation of the Shanghai Jinchuan gearbox, mainly through oil replacement, oil level inspection, and oil level inspection for gearboxes with oil level plugs.
1、 For gearboxes with oil level plugs
Check the oil level to see if it is qualified; Install the oil level plug.
2、 Oil replacement
After cooling, the viscosity of the oil increases and it is difficult to drain the oil. The gearbox should be changed at operating temperature. Cut off the power to prevent electric shock! Wait until the gearbox cools down and there is no risk of combustion!
3、 Precautions
Inject new oil of the same brand; The oil level should be consistent with the installation position; Check the oil level at the oil level plug; Tighten the oil level plug and breather; When changing oil, the gearbox should still be kept warm; Place a drain pan under the oil drain plug; Open the oil level plug, breather, and drain plug; Drain all the oil; Install the oil drain plug.
4、 Oil level inspection
Cut off the power to prevent electric shock! Waiting for the gearbox to cool down; Remove the oil level plug and check if the oil is full; Install the oil level plug.
5、 Oil inspection
Cut off the power to prevent electric shock! Waiting for the gearbox to cool down; Open the oil drain plug and take an oil sample; Check the viscosity index of the oil; If the oil is visibly cloudy, it is recommended to replace it as soon as possible.
