Recently, the National Committee for the Standardization of Gearboxes (hereinafter referred to as the "National Committee for the Standardization of Gearboxes") held an expanded meeting to discuss the work plan of the National Committee for the Standardization of Gearboxes during the 12th Five Year Plan period. It was understood that the "12th Five Year Plan" outlines the implementation of the national economy's "12th Five Year Plan" development plan and the revitalization of China's equipment manufacturing industry. Efforts will be made to improve the standardization management level of national gearbox enterprises and even the entire industry, so that domestic transmission equipment can meet the development needs of China's key and severe equipment manufacturing industry in the modern national economy, and provide support for the transition of China's equipment manufacturing industry from a consumer country to a research and manufacturing powerhouse.
The central content of the 12th Five Year Plan for the reducer industry is to increase the overall management of the design, manufacturing, and integration capabilities of reducers in the mechanical equipment category, strengthen the standardization of independent innovation and fundamental research; Efforts will be made to promote the standardization of reducers in areas such as multifunctional equipment, key processing equipment for large broadband metal sheets, reactive power compensation, and wave management and installation in the field of severe technical equipment; In the fields of new energy, renewable energy, and alternative energy, efficient application and structural optimization of coil energy will be carried out, with a focus on standardizing the application of reducers in large, efficient and clean power generation equipment, ultra-high voltage transmission and transformation equipment, and other areas. According to the purpose and technical requirements of relevant industries, the standardization work will be included in the scope of application reducer design and manufacturing, in order to comply with the high standard requirements of the market economy and national industrial development for the equipment manufacturing industry.
